Our leadership’s diverse expertise spans the public, non-profit, and private sectors, consistently driving innovation and delivering transformative solutions.

Our founder

Uchenna Moka-Solana

Uchenna Moka-Solana, Founder and President of MokSol Impact, is an accomplished executive leader with a remarkable two decade long journey in organizational transformation, digital consulting, and product strategy and development. Her expertise spans diverse sectors, including public, non-profit, and private, where she consistently fuels innovation and delivers transformative solutions.

As the first Chief Technology Officer  and interim Vice President of  Digital Experiences at one of the nation's largest online racial justice organization, Uchenna left an indelible mark. She was responsible for scaling the technology department, while developing and implementing a clear, strategic vision for the organization’s technology  and membership landscape. She led two departments while driving change processes in conjunction with other leaders at the organization.  She helped operationalize a visionary strategic framework that aimed to integrate all organizational departments, nurturing a culture of shared goals and prioritized initiatives. Uchenna's leadership catalyzed a cultural shift, fostering cross-functional collaboration, transparency, and a shared vision. This transformation enhanced the organization's agility, paving the way for greater impact.

Previously, Uchenna served as Acting Executive Director of 18F, a digital services agency within the U.S. General Services Administration, where she led a team of over 150 cross-functional technologists and managed a $32M federal portfolio. Under her leadership, 18F achieved full cost recoverability for the first time in five years, all while navigating the operational complexities of a global pandemic and a presidential transition. During her tenure, she also served as Engagement Lead for the civilrights.justice.gov modernization, an award-winning collaboration with the U.S. Department of Justice’s Civil Rights Division that transformed how the public files civil rights complaints. The project earned the Division’s highest recognition for exceptional service.

As Director of Product at 18F, Uchenna oversaw the practice of end-to-end product and service delivery in collaboration with federal government agencies, improving outcomes for the American public. She also initiated the curation of a federal government best practices guide for product managers.

Before joining federal service, Uchenna was a Delivery Principal at ThoughtWorks, a global technology consultancy, where she advised Fortune 500 clients on product strategy, Agile transformation, and organizational change. She also co-founded and scaled ThoughtWorks' Pan-African operations, launching offices in Johannesburg and Kampala and growing diverse technical teams to over 200 consultants. Her work involved building resilient tech ecosystems in emerging markets and included delivering high-impact solutions, such as, helping a Forbes Top 3 innovative pharmaceutical company reduce their therapeutic pipeline by 10%.

Uchenna holds a degree in Biomedical Engineering from Northwestern University, specializing in tissue and material engineering. Her extensive research endeavors in diabetes at the University of Chicago's Pritzker School of Medicine mirror her dedication to advancing healthcare through innovative research and technology. Uchenna uniquely bridges scientific rigor with strategic business transformation. She combines deep technical expertise in Agile methodologies, cloud architecture, and modern engineering practices with executive-level strategic planning and organizational design.

Uchenna founded MokSol Impact to help mission-driven organizations navigate strategic inflection points, optimize operations, and leverage technology thoughtfully. Her approach centers on aligning people, processes, and systems with organizational mission, drawing from her experience leading digital transformation initiatives across government, nonprofit, and private sectors globally.
